DTU Environment is conveniently located next to the motorway connecting Copenhagen and Helsingør, and there is a fast bus connection (no. 150S) from Central Copenhagen (i.e. from Nørreport Station), which has a stop close to the venue (i.e. at "Rævehøjvej, DTU", which is the stop right after "Klampenborgvej"). By S-train to Lyngby: Use the B or E line in the direction of Lyngby, which both calls at all stations in central Copenhagen, including Copenhagen Central Station. The travel time from Copenhagen Central Station to Lyngby is approx. 20 mins. From Lyngby Station a number of bus lines will take you to DTU in about 5 minutes time - just follow the flow of students.

In general, DTU visitors want to stay in central Copenhagen with easy access to the bus line 150S (see above), since the few hotels close to the campus are somewhat expensive. Naturally, staying in the Copenhagen city center also gives easy access to the capital's large selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants.
For a low-cost option we would like to suggest the Hotel Cabinn Scandinavia, Vodroffsvej 55, DK-1900 Frederiksberg C. A map showing the location of the hotel may be found here. The hotel is located right next to a metro stop ("Forum"), which will take you directly to "Nørreport Station" in 1-2 minutes time. At "Nørreport Station" you then change to bus 150S, which starts from there. It is also possible to walk from the hotel to "Nørreport Station" in 15 minutes. Altogether it will take you approx. 45 mins to get from the hotel to the venue, if you catch the bus on time.
How to find the hotel if you come from the airport?
Hotel Cabinn Scandinavia is located only a few minutes walk from the metro station "Forum", which is directly connected to Copenhagen Airport (by the metro). When you have collected your baggage and cleared security, you go to the other end of the arrival hall, where you buy a 2-zone (blue) bus/train 10-trip card at the counter (at 140 DKK for 10 trips). You will easily use up your remaining trips during the following days. Now go up the stairs or use the elevator to find the metro, where you punch your card twice (for 4 zones). Get in the first metro to come your way and get out at "Forum" and follow the map below.
How to find the hotel if you come by train from Sweden?
All the Öresund trains from Sweden call at "Nørreport" train station, which is the first stop following Copenhagen Central Station. At Nørreport station you follow the signs to the metro and get into the first metro train in the direction of "Vanløse". "Forum" is the first stop after Nørreport station. Get out here and follow the map below.
